Corporate social responsibility (CSR)

At Crestex, we are committed to being a socially responsible corporate entity. We proudly uphold the values of being an equal opportunity employer, firmly adhering to our policy of not hiring minors. Moreover, we prioritise candidates from diverse backgrounds and underrepresented communities.
Our CSR initiatives encompass a wide range of activities, including carbon neutralisation, water treatment, waste management, and philanthropy. We take great pride in our support for The Citizens Foundation School (TCF).

Wastewater treatment plant

Our Activated Sludge Wastewater Treatment plant, boasting a 150m3/hr capacity, has been operational since October 2003. Its primary purpose is to treat our effluent in strict compliance with PEQS, ZDHC, DETOX, and STeP regulations.

Go green!

The Crescent “Go Green” initiative embodies our commitment to enhancing the purity of our environment by planting trees and minimising the impact of industrial emissions. The escalating global temperatures, largely driven by emissions, threaten the habitability of our planet for future generations. Our Go Green campaign is founded on our responsibility to create a better society for them. To date, we’ve successfully planted over 27,000 trees on our premises, resulting in a reduction of 550 tons of CO2 emissions annually. We are resolute in increasing this number and further contributing to the well-being of our environment.

A second home for birds

Crestex has become a welcoming sanctuary for birds, home to over 10 different species, including Sparrows, Nightingales, Owls, Crows and Parrots.
